Hey everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single glove that we can get our hands on. Today we are looking at the orange Dura Tech durable safety protection, super duty like the F 1 58 nil gloves. Tara's going to take a sample out of that box for me. She's going to cut a small piece. We're going to hand it over to Chris who's going to stretch it on this machine until it breaks. Now, typically we want to see gloves get 500% elongation when we stretch them, but it'll be interesting to see this one's got a crazy rip on it. Like an actual glove that you would like, a reusable glove that you'd buy. Oh, that was fast. There you go. I mean, this is crazy. It it's like an asmr situation. Yeah. Is it doing it for you, Josh? Lemme try the unofficial stretch wince test. That beaded cuff got me again. Ah, okay. It's a strong glove. Eight mil, very aggressive low sweat. That's not a thing. They're going to make you sweat the same textured grip. True. A hundred gloves, super duty, dura gold, long lasting durability. Sounds like they're selling condoms to be honest. Food handling sanitation, home travel workshop. Mechanic painting. Chemical industrial, because they said food handling. Oh. And it says the standards are A S T M D 63 19. Oh, how convenient. That's the test we're doing. Nerds.

Alrighty. Oh, where was this made and what is the date? Oh, that really, it still hurts. Okay. This was made two months ago. This is a brand new glove and it was made in China. Let's do it.

Just over nine mils.

Nine mils. Yes. Well, they're over advertising. It is dur gold. Alright, so we're doing the elongation test here. We're going to stretch this glove until it breaks When the break happens, we're going to see this line drop down. You can see the other breakages we've done in tests so far because of the standards that they are claiming. 63 19. That means according to that test, it needs to hit 500% or better, which you can see we've only had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 that have met that so far. And a tensile strength. 14 megapascals. Oh wow. That is the lowest curve we've had today. Curve we've had today. Joking there somewhere. Oh, that's really good. Lower the better in the beginning. Although we have had some that went super low and then broke right away. Yes. That's crazy. Look at that. That's slightly above. I'm thinking this glove ISS going to slay.

I do believe you're right. Oh, way off.

429.51% and a tensile strength of 10.3. It failed twice. It started out so strong and then failed. Now look, another disclaimer here. If we were doing the actual test on this, we would test 13 samples in a lot and it could have two failures and it would still pass. And we're not going to do that today because Chris ain't got time for that. He's got five kids, he's got to go home to, his wife's been blowing him up this whole time. That's not true, but my wife has called twice, so we're not going to do any more tests. It may be a good glove. It feels really strong.
