Hey everyone. Welcome back to the place we're testing every single glove on Amazon. That's right, it's like a mask for your hand. Um, so today we're looking at the King Seal, nitro Select by King Seal. Kinda like that manufacture without latex makes sense. That's why you would do nitro. Nitro is a nbr is a, is a, a manmade version of latex, basically powder free. You cannot have a powder version, uh, in the United States for a number of reasons. I'm trying to see when this was made, uh, manufactured in Malaysia for Westco Enterprise. Malaysian gloves been around forever. So they're making medical claims on here. Um, saying it's an examination glove. Anytime you see examination glove, that is a medical claim, uh, meaning that it has to pass a number of tests. Uh, this is not meaning that I could tell you that because the box is not compliant because the box does not have the manufactured date on it. And if it doesn't have the manufactured date, I can't figure out what test to put it in. So we're gonna hold it to the highest standards, which is 500%. We're gonna stretch this glove until it breaks and it's supposed to be over 500%. Try these on. They look kind of nice. Is this like purple? It's like a purple Nitro Select either hand <laugh>, that's a weird way of saying that. Let me try this. Do the unofficial test first. The, the winds test.
I would say that's, that's a like slightly worse than like emergency, the average gloves. Alright, we are doing the elongation and tensile strength test and what we're trying to do is we're, we're stretching this glove glove until it breaks and, uh, per standards it needs to beat 500%. Now you can see only 1, 2, 3 gloves have ever made that. If it's a little bit older glove, it can, uh, it can be 400% and meet standards. We don't know the age of this glove cause they didn't put it on the box, which is already failing standards cuz you have to put manufacturer date. Um, and so we're gonna hold them to the highest standard. It's gotta be 500% or better. Uh, it also has to be a tensile strength of 14 or better, but most of those are, we're, we're meeting most of those. Where is that coming in? That's, that's pretty good actually. This one might be a pretty good glove. I said worse than half, but I was wrong. Okay, well it's starting to climb now, so it's just barely steep. Oh, oh wow.
Interesting. Okay, so 16. This hit 16.9, uh, on the tensile strength, 16.939, which is one of the lowest, uh, we've seen for tensile. And uh, the elongation test was 387%. So that was a failure on the elongation, uh, by any standards. Uh, and, um, barely, barely passing the tensile strike. Now let's talk for a second about this. We're not doing, uh, 13 tests typically with a lot. You're gonna do 13 tests and then you get two failures. We're not gonna do that today cuz Chris just won't gimme the time. Yeah, he's a's no soup for you Lloyd. So, um, you know, this could be a good glove. Um, but we've had some really great gloves that have passed here. And personally I would just choose another glove, sorry, king Seal by Nigel Select. I would choose personally another glove, but your mileage may vary. Thank you guys so much for watching. I appreciate your time and attention and I will catch you on the next test catch. Is that a glove joke? Maybe find out.
