All right, everybody. We are testing every mask that we could find on Amazon. And right now I'm super excited to test this one, because this is the sexiest packaging that I have seen for any disposable mask. Dr. Puri KF94, not KN not KN95, not N95, KF94.

KF94 is a Korean standard and actually it is one of the best standards out there now NIOSH or N95, I'm sure you've seen in the news, that's going to take the cake. But if didn't get second place, man, it is the Korean KF94 format. Are you guys getting excited about this mask? Cause I'm really excited about this mask. I mean, man, it's got a lot of breathable space in there, which is great, cause the bigger the mask area to breathe, the more you can breathe. So they're claiming 94%. I mean, look at this packing. This is just a beautiful mask. How many masks are in this? 20 pack. This is a good mask. You got it? You covered?

Yeah.

And I just like it's really great soft ear loops, really strong. And the way this works is it gives you a lot more breathable space, I think, than in a lot of N95's. So I'm going to put this on here. I Actually want this to be tighter. I want it to be tighter against my face. And it's got a really nice nose wear. I kind of want to dissect this thing and see what it looks like. That is so nice. Oh my gosh. I'm feeling like this extra space gives me just so much more breathable space. I really like this mask. It does smell like burnt firewood, that is definitely the vibe I'm getting there. So it does have a bit of a burnt smell. I would put this at about a medium of the smells. Wouldn't you?

So of all the mass that we've tested today, I would say this is right in the center. It's got a really good breathability as we saw. Was it 90 something?

91, so again anything below 150 is really good. Five is extremely good. So this mask you could wear for eight hours, most likely. And it claims to have a 94% filtration. So, what do you think the Korean registered KF94 mask comes in at?

The Dr. Puri mask passed our particulate filtration efficiency machine test with a score of 97.38%. KF94 masks are boat-style and made in Korea, which has very strict production guidelines. All KF94 masks have ear loops instead of head straps or head ties.

Mask breathability is determined by airflow resistance, which we measure in pascals. The target for adults should be around 150, and the target for children should be close to 100. The airflow resistance of this mask is 91.

This mask has the wood smoke odor that's common with KF94s. It offers lots of breathing room and soft, strong ear loops. Our only negative comment is we'd like a tighter fit.

Dr.Puri KF94s got very high scores on the Armbrurst youtube channel tests for both filtration and breathability.
I wish Dr.Puri would make these in colors other than just Black and White, and it’s hard to find in packs of less than 20 on Amazon, or on any other website. I’ve tried many times.

The test done by CDC is way more impressive (about 99.9%). Perhaps their quality control is not the best.

Hi I’ve just Purchased the white Dr Puri mask size small and I’m wondering how safe this one is in terms of its breathability and Filtration efficacy ? I’m guessing so?

You did a very nice job reviewing this mask! However, do you know if the white version of it has the same test results? Or even if you haven’t tested it, do you have any expectations about whether the color would make any difference or not? The trouble with the black mask is that it is on back-order at Amazon until late March. I hope you can help.
