Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the place where we're testing every single mask on Amazon. Got an interesting one for you today. Excited to see what happens.

It is the, what did we say? Zhong Jian Le. I can't say it, but when you go and buy it on Amazon, it's Hotodeal, which we tested before. We tested the black ones. I think we bought the white ones and this guy showed up. And we were able to diagnose it.

We have our investigative journalist, Brittany, who was able to get to the bottom of it by looking at all the Amazon reviews and a bunch of people found this. And what was interesting was I actually, because I'm a very exciting person, was looking at the NPPTL's results, which is the CDC's lab. And they tested something from the manufacturer Chengde, which sells Hotodeal as well. This is the third thing we tested from them and look at this. This is the different model.

Oh, this is a different design. Oh, interesting. We got the nose wire on the outside. Oh, interesting. Okay. Okay. I see you. Let's put it in the Clamptastic 5000.

Technical name of this machine and let it rip. Okay. So this is a little bit different than the other ones that we've seen from this manufacturer. So this manufacturer, which you can always see the name of the manufacturer, usually on this slip here. It'll say Chengde Technology Co., Ltd. I don't know if you can... It's there, trust me. And you can see it on the bag right there. And it's also another mask that we bought on Amazon. Hotodeal, same thing, Chengde. And then this other one, WWDOLL, which is a super popular one on Amazon also is Chengde. So they make a lot of these masks, but this design is different than the other ones. So decided to check that out.

So what's interesting is that they're going under this name, Zong Jian Le, on this particular mask, which is a different manufacturer name? Very confusing. GB2626-2006, which is the old KN95 standard. Huh? This, by the way, is what you need to see on a KN95. You need to see the executive standard 26, 26 and a year. This is the old standard, the new one's 2019, KN95, manufacturer name, and then, optionally, the model number of the mask. All right.

So this is actually a KN95. That's pretty good actually. So for WWDOLLs or this manufacturer, I found that the ear loops are really bad, but this one, actually, this design is a little bit stronger. I mean, it's breaking, but it's not the worst. Let's try the smell out.

I'm going to call this smell not terrible plastic. Again, I think there's something wrong with me. I'm starting to like this smell. Let's try the fit on this one. This one's a lot bigger, interestingly. I'm getting a gap down here. The other ones fit me really well. The ear loops are a lot longer. I'm getting a gap on the side and then the nose wire's not as good as the nose wire in their new model. So the 2020, they definitely upgraded it. Their new one's much better.

But does any of that matter if it doesn't protect you? Now, the CDC tested this. We talked about that when they tested this particular one. 98, 99 across the board. So they got a good score there. What do we get?

97.8. 97.876. That's not bad. That's not bad. That's above the KN95 standard. This manufacturer seems to be a pretty quality manufacturer when it comes to their fabric. Their fit seems to vary a little bit. Again for the price and the breathability... Let me check breathability. Whoa, terrible breathability. I would definitely not use this mask. Breathability is 222.36 pascals. That's horrible. Now it's still within the KN95 standard. And ironically, this mask from Chengde is the only one that actually meets all of requirements of the KN95 standards that I'm testing for. But it's the worst version that they have. So, there you go. Your mileage may vary.
