Gerson Model 3230 N95 Respirator

Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the place where we're testing every single mask in the world. Today, we are testing American made N95s that we missed because before I was only testing N95s that were made as a response to the COVID 19 pandemic. And these guys, Gerson had been around forever. I'll get into that in a second, but first let's open up this box and put it in the clamper.

So I kind of like the box. It's not a soft touch box. It's like what I would call an economy box, but they've done a really good job of the economy... Oh, that's so cool. That's a very... There's 150 in here? Holy cow. Individually packaged. This is pretty cool. All right. I'll talk... I'm getting excited, but, let's get it in the clamper first. Sometimes I just start yapping and then we're not even running the test and then, we've got to wait for the test to finish. So, okay.

This is the 3230, let it rip. This a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency machine. If you want to find out more about how this works, check out that link. All right. This a 30, their 3230 and we're going to test their 3230 plus in a second. I'm not a hundred percent sure about the difference, but I'll figure it out. Don't you worry. Just take a look at the box a little bit more just because I like it. So it's got this like, nice... It's large. Okay? Look at that. It's a big box, but you've got this nice pull tab that we saw. So if you're in an industrial setting, this is going to be great because everything is nicely packaged right in there. You've got your instructions right inside that. And they're individually sealed, which is awesome. Now, if you know me, if you've seen any of these shows, I love the soft... I'm a fiend for good packaging. That's my jam.

What the holy hell? 46 pascals. What? Okay. Okay. Okay. This is not only the most breathable mask that has meltblown in it, but it's the... I mean, not only the most breathable N95, but this is the most breathable mask I've ever seen. I'm probably peaking all of my audio here. This is insane. 96.9% efficiency, 47. I can't say anything else about this mask. The stats speak for themselves. Holy. That is bananas. Individually packaged, great price, made in the United States. Vertically integrated by the way, these guys have been making this product for decades. They didn't respond to the COVID 19 pandemic. What they did was spool up operations to 24/7. And if you haven't heard of them, that's because they don't have a marketing department because all these, do is execute. That's it.

They're just making great masks, shipping them and, if you know, you know. Wow, I am so impressed by these guys. I haven't even tried on the mask yet. Okay. And I know the machine's not broken too because I've just did like... I mean, that's such a good score that I would think, we need to recalibrate the machine, but we literally just re calibrated this morning, like two hours ago and I've tested four or five tests so I know it's not broken. So put this on here and it's got... So it goes behind your head like that? Oh, that's actually, that's very comfortable. Hey, it turns out they had a plan.

All right. So it goes top of your head like that above your ears. And then it's got a really great nose. Oh wow. This is actually very comfortable. Dude, this is a good mask. Holy cow. It does look like, you legit look like a duck, but it is worth it. It is so worth it. I have never been happier to look like a duck than wearing this mask.

Pluck my tails feathers and call me baldly.

Oh my gosh. And even though I have a beard, I feel like I'm getting an insane fit on this. I could wear this mask for, I mean... I'm going to wear this mask to sleep. I'm just going to wear it all the time. I don't even need a mask. I'm vaccinated nine times. But I'm... That's not true. That's a lie, but I'm just going to wear that mask just because I enjoy it.

Okay. Okay. How long have I been rambling. I need to settle down. Louis M Gerson, thank you for making this mask. Making it for America, making it for me. If you want a mask that will give you a great... I mean we've seen some masks here that done 99%. Right? I like seeing that to be honest, just because it feels good, but we're within standards here. 96.897. Breathe ability, insane breathe ability unique design that fits just phenomenally and super comfortably and you can hear me talking better and I can breathe in it. It doesn't have a soft touch box. That's the only bad thing I can say about it. That's it. That's all I got. That's the only criticism, not a soft touch box. Thank you guys for watching. I really appreciate it.
