Oh today, we're doing the Mystcare mask. Welcome. Buckle up. We're testing some masks today. Let's do this. I'm going to put it in the clamper.

I didn't even greet you. I didn't even say, "Hey, everyone. Welcome back." What a jerk. This is one of those seal-over type things, which I don't love because I feel like people can get in there with their little hands, little grubby, unwashed hands. I like it to be sealed, sealed in a package that I open, and it takes me five minutes to open a new iPhone.

This is the fifth mask and test that we're doing today and I'm already like level nine, so buckle up, everybody. It's happening.

We're using a different clamp on this, and the reason for that, than we normally would for surgical, and it's because we're using these itty bitty, teensy weenie, teeny, teeny tiny kids masks. Is that a good clamp? I like that clamp. This is a P... We did it. This is a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency machine. If you want to find out how this thing works, check out this link. We're doing the ASTM test, the American Standard Test for surgical masks today. So we set up Mystcare. Mystical? Misty? We'll find out. We'll find out. That's the mystery. Does this protect you? This machine is going to unlock the Mystcare mystery, which I'm sure you've all read about.

A lot of ratings. Lot of rating. Lot of expectations here. All metal nose clip. We shall see. I don't think that's true, and I don't think it should be either, so the that's that's very weird. Kids. Disposable. Recommended for five-to-eight hours. Made of breathable material. Yeah. 65 pascals. Not horrible. Mouth cover face mask. I don't... Mouth cover. What's that?

Let's look at the box. Mystcare. Mystcare. Mystcare. So they are making a claim here. The GB/T 38880, which is the surgical standard for kids' masks in China. We'll talk about that in a second. Which one though? They're not telling you. See, that's weird. There's five different versions of that standard and they're not telling you. Let's take a look at this. See how strong the loops are. Oh, wow. That's really good. That is exceptional.

It's good. It should be a little tight for me because I'm a kid. Dude. Dude. Dude, dude. That's hilarious. Let's do the smell test first. I'm going to call this... I'm just going to call this a slight plastic smell because just like Chinese masks have this polypropylene smell to them. If you put your face in a Chinese mask before and you're like, "Oh, that smells like something," that's it. You'll know.

Going to do this a little bit because kids, they tend to... I don't think it's going to come off. That thing was pretty excellent. However, however, this is just funny to me. This is just... It's the little things. I mean, this is... Masks are my sports. So I mean, just buckle up, okay, because this is going to be fun.

All metal nose clips. All metal nose clips. I want get it big. All metal nose clips. Okay. All metal. All metal. All metal nose clips? All metal? Really? Okay. Okay. Weird flex, right? That's a weird flex. Especially when you have an all plastic nose clip. What the heck? So I found that to save money, a handful, probably 10, 20% of Chinese masks will use this plastic thing. And what sucks about it is look, it doesn't maintain its shape. Right? All right. I beat them up a little bit, but come on. It's a weird... It's so weird, right? They claiming all metal and then they give you a plastic one. It's so weird. It's so weird. All right. But does any of that matter if it doesn't protect you? Let's check out the PFE machine. What does it say? 94.642. There are better masks out there for kids, especially made from people that don't lie to you.

So I think that the mystery here was the nose wire. That's what it was. That was mystery... Not a crazy mystery, but I had fun. So, that's all I care about because if I get one like on the video, if you see one like, it's for me. I don't need your likes. I have my own. This guy's.
