Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the place where we're testing every single mask in the world. That's right. We are looking today at all of the masks in India, which is really exciting. We've seen some really good masks and we've seen some of the worst masks that we have ever tested. So very excited to check out the Welspun brand. And I just realized it's Welspun with one "L." That's very interesting. Welspun Health. Okay. Let's put it in the clamper. See what happens.Oh yeah. That's totally going to work. Rip. This is a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency machine. If you want to find out more about how this works, check out that link up there. We are not testing fit here. Just filtration and breathability. You need both fit and filtration to make something work. So just keep that in mind. All right.
Look, at Welspun Health, with one "L." Let's look at the box. No website. Found a website for the group, but no website for the mask. Class One, Type Two R, BFE 99%. So I think if I'm starting to read the tea leaves on the Indian masks, Class One is an Indian classification. That's the lowest level. So they're saying it's interesting because Class One is a 95% BFE. Type Two R is 98% BFE. The problem is what you really want is ASTM, because this machine is a testing for particulate filtration.
And they're talking about bacteria. Bacteria, come on, man. That's old school. Bacteria doesn't matter for something like COVID. COVID is so small. Bacteria's like 10 times larger. So if you really want to know if something's going to protect you, you got to look at PFE, you don't care about BFE. What I don't like about these standards is that they put 98% on the box and you're like, "Oh!" I mean, if I'm just a common person, I'm just like, "I don't ..." I would say probably 18 months ago, if I would've saw that, I would've been like, "Oh, 98%. That's like the best, right?" You're not going to get much better. When in reality you can have a pretty high BFE and a pretty low PFE. So we'll see how this one ends up. We've had some claiming 98 ended up doing 50 on here, which I would not trust. So it's kind of a nice box. No soft touch. Made in India.
All right, let's open it up. Very common in India. I've not seen a single box that I open that has a sealed bag inside, unfortunately. I like seeing them sealed, it just makes me feel better. It's like chunks of stuff on there. That's weird. Very wrinkled. These are like the most wrinkled masks I've seen. Look at that. Not that that matters. They made the trip from India. Oh, okay. Okay. Nice to see you. Okay. Yeah.
Still that's probably one of the ... I've not seen some great ear loops out of India, to be honest, so far. I'm looking at there's a discoloration too, in the spun bond. It looks like a cloud that shows that it's not super-consistent. But, we'll see. Let's try putting this on. Don't love the construction on this to the smell. Every mask pretty much smells like this. Actually wait, any notes of something here? Hold on a second.
I'm going to call this a box full of toilet paper rolls. Rolls, toilet, paper rolls, new ones. Really weird. Not terrible. It smells like paper, basically, and that's from the inside of this box that it's been sitting in. So that's what you're going to get. Actually, of all the masks, I have not gotten, except for the one that smelled kind of like cigarette smoke, they've all actually smelled pretty delightful. The fact that they made this long trip is pretty impressive. All right.
But does that matter if it doesn't protect you? Remember minimum standards in the United States, 95%. That's what we want to see on this machine. That's an ASTM Level One mask. I love to see ASTM Level Two or Three, which is 98%. But we're splitting hairs there. Let's check it out.
Okay. 92.501. This is the second, third best mask that we've from India, so far. 92.501. Not terrible. Of the masks in India that I've seen, this is one of the better ones. If I was in India and I saw this, Welspun, I might buy this one, to be honest. There are better masks in India. Again, we like to see 98%, but this is pretty much up there. All right.
Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you're appreciating this. I'm trying to test all the masks in India. I only have 20 or 30 here. So if you see a mask that you have, or that you know about that we can buy or that you can send us, it'd be great. If you do that, I'm going to put my address below. And I also put a link to all of the other masks that we're testing. So, again, we'd love to see more masks. I want to get all the masks in the world, have the best database, all the masks in the world, because clearly I have nothing better do do with my time. Right? Thank you so much for watching. I will catch you on the next test.
