We asked Armbrust customers for their health tips and you all delivered some great advice!

Check out some of the responses we received:

  • Get outside - Take a walk....if it's only a 10 min walk that's ok, and it doesn't have to be a speed walk, or run, or a walk at a fast pace, just take the time and enjoy the scenery, or the sunshine, or whatever it is that one enjoys looking at....the birds, water, trees, the ocean, it's just so relaxing and changes ones mood, it's invigorating, helps one feel so much better in so many ways, well, it does for me anyway
  • Follow your passion
  • Per my pulmonologist, it's a good idea to wear a respirator mask while vacuuming. It's likewise beneficial to open windows and run ceiling fans while vacuuming. My pulmonologist tells me that these measures can prevent a runny nose, a sore throat, and (depending on one's respiratory system) shortness of breath.
  • Wear a mask when on airplanes
  • Eat yogurt with honey, mixed with cinnamon & turmeric powder to promote good digestion and antioxidant.
  • Talk, text, call or visit a friend every single day
  • Turn off your computer 1.5 hours before bed
  • Prioritize & promote quality sleep no matter what.
  • Grow something. A houseplant, a tomato plant in summer, a shrub, a flower. Plant it nurture it & watch it grown & be in awe.
  • Choose something you love to do, a cause you believe in, a charity to support & do so with your wallet & your time. Smile & enjoy it & you will feel better for it.
  • Wash hands properly and regularly
  • Have good indoor air circulation
  • Clean your phone two or three times a day and do not eat finger food while using phone.
  • Avoid Smoking
  • I always recommend wearing masks for allergies, especially when mowing the lawn
  • Stay Hydrated
  • I keep hand sanitizer in my car all of the time so after I have been shopping I can wash my hands before hitting the road to my next destination.
  • Get a covid shot, flu shots and get shingles shots
  • Surround yourself with positive people
  • I always have saline nasal spray on hand. It helps with allergies and low humidity. It works for people with mold allergies that should use humidifiers as well as people who are uncomfortable using Neti pots.
