I previously used 2.5 inserts from Amazon and paper-thin N95 inserts. The N95 ones were difficult to insert in my cloth masks.
Armbrust 2.5 filters are better. They’re thinner and more comfortable than the Amazon ones, and much easier to insert than the N95 ones.
I also like the carbon layer in the Armbrust ones for extra protection.

My wife is allergic to surgical masks. These PM 2.5 Filters fit nicely into the pocket of her cloth mask. Although coverage is limited to the nose, it doesn’t matter because it’s where normal inhalation occurs.
Great insert for cloth masks! Thin and flexible but give that next level of protection for greater peace of mind.
I like that these are made in the USA and they have some heft to them. I have used silicone brackets in cloth masks to keep from sucking in cloth when I breathe and these filters eliminate the need for that because, once they are inserted in a cloth mask, they give it just a bit of a shape that keeps it out of my mouth. Having a filter in my cloth masks makes me feel more protected from the virus.
Now that I have started wearing Armbrust surgical masks a lot I don’t use my cloth masks as much but I made a lot of them last year with some fun fabrics and it’s nice to use them too.
Quick turn around on the order, the filters came in a re-sealable bag. I have placed the filters in the cloth masks for my kids. They are comfortable and do not add bulk to the 3 ply mask. I specifically bought them from Armbrust because they are made in USA. I am hoping to put in another order since I have shared them friends. Thank You!
