Hey, everyone. Welcome back the place where we take off our lab coats and we party. We don't just test masks. We party test masks. This is the last test of the day and I'm getting done. Are you ready? Let's buckle up because I got a special submission just for you. This is not one that we bought on Amazon. Oh no. This is a mask that was given to us by a local doctor in India. This is the company Z Plus Disposable. Stand for zombie? I don't know. You decide. Very excited to test this because it looks real sketchy. So without further ado, let's get it in that clamper and test this thing out.

This mask is not going to do well. I know masks. I know masks. And I can tell just by looking at them, this one's not going to do well. This is a PFE machine, particulate filtration efficiency machine. We are doing the American standard test on this machine, not the Indian standard test, which is a lot different. They're actually only testing for bacterial filtration in India. So there's not really something that's a good benchmark for if it's going to protect you against COVID. The doctor in question that I was talking about, we were looking to donate surgical masks to, and he said, "Here are the masks that I'm using." And he showed them to me. This is over WhatsApp. And I was like, "Take a picture of that against a table." And I could see the table on the other side. I'm like, "This is not a good mask. Please send it to me." I'm like, "Are these really the mask that your doctors and surgeons are using?" He's like, "This is the mask that our hospital gives us." Seriously, this seems very legit, right? It looks legit to me, but let's jump over to the machine and see what's happening.

I mean, great breathability. Amazing breathability. But that's because this thing is worse than a neck gaiter. Let me say that again. This is worse than a piece of cloth and I'm going to show you why. Let's open it up. Oh, scalpel.

Now surgical masks have three layers, a layer of spunbond polypropylene on the outside and a layer of spunbond polypropylene on the inside. This is to protect the wearer, surgeon in this case, from blood splatter. And all that spunbond polypropylene does is block water. That's it. On the inside is a layer of melt blown. And that melt blown is actually what protects people, for you, the wearer, from something like COVID-19. So let's look at what comes in this particular mask. This is the outside. So you have a layer of spunbond polypropylene on the outside to protect the wear against water. And then let's look at the mask layer on the inside.

We have another layer of spunbond polypropylene, and then you guessed it in the middle. We have spunbond polypropylene. So this mask is three layers of spunbond, which cannot protect you at all, as our machine clearly shows. When the test was finished, we were at 7.393 efficiency. You might as well use your shirt like this. In fact, let's see if this shirt does better. Let's do it. Huh? Who's up for that. I bet you that my Hawaiian shirt is going to do better on this test than this fricking terrible.

All right. I'm watching the test from here and looking at it backwards. The breathability is horrible on this material. How is it so bad? This shirt is way better. Look that 33% [inaudible]. I must look like a mad man at this point, but seriously, look at this 29, 28%. This medical company, they look like they got legit doctors and nurses, Z Plus Disposable, they're making stuff that 7% versus my shirt, which is clearly a lot better.
